Hey Kids, now that Fall is here I want to make October soup month. I know it's still September but because I have so many recipes to share I wanted to get started a little early. So today I have a great Crockpot soup that is so simple and so delicious you will want to make it often this winter.

Lentil and Barley Soup
Ingredients:
8 cups beef broth
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried oregano
4 lg carrots, sliced
1 lg onion, chopped
1/2 cup uncooked dried lentils
1/2 cup uncooked pearl barley
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in Crockpot and cook on Low 8-9 hrs or High 4-5 hrs
Serve with a sid of garlic bread or cornbread
