Hey Kids we’re still here at Thousand Trails Colorado River. But sorry to say it’s our last week before we have to head back to Cut N Shoot for a few weeks. Our stay here the last month has been AWESOME. Hanging out with great friends and playing games almost every night. AND the deer, OMG there are so many and they come almost right up to your door and So beautiful. These 2 pics were taken from the motorhome door.
The six of us decided to take a tour of the little Blue Bell Creamery in Brenham. We had a ball, just like kids on a field trip out of school and we got some free ice cream too…

Crockpot Apple Crisp
Ingredients
4-5 cups apples, sliced
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup regular sugar
3 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger (optional)
1/4 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
3/4 cup butter
Directions
Grease crock pot or use a liner Line with apples coat apples in a little brown sugar before putting them in the crock. Melt butter and combine with all remaining ingredients. Pour over apples. Cook on HIGH 3 hours or LOW 4-6 hours. Serve warm with a scoop of Blue Bell vanilla ice cream. Happy Cooking!
