Fall Crockpot Soup #4 Chicken Chili

Hey kids, here's another great cold day crockpot meal. This soup is really, really good. It's so warm and filling and it's great to cook at the hunting lodge for those avid deer hunters because it can be doubled or tripled for large groups. Just add some cornbread and you have a wonderful meal. Yum

Debi's Spicy Chicken Chili

3 chicken breast, boneless and skinless
1 tsp tenderizer
1 tsp poultry seasoning
1 tsp course ground pepper
1 tsp seasoning salt
1 tsp pepper flakes
1 sm onion
2 stalks of celery
2 pkg of chicken chili mix (Do NOT add WATER you will use your homemade broth instead)
2 cups chicken broth (made from boiling the chicken)
2 cans of great northern beans Undrained
Directions
In a large pot place chicken in 3 cups of water and add all ingredients (EXCEPT chili mix and beans) and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 min. to make your broth. Remove chicken and dice in small pieces.
Strain your broth into a 2 cup measuring cup. Combine diced chicken, chili mix, white beans and 2 cups of your homemade broth and transfer to a large lined crockpot cook on LOW for 4-5 hrs
Serve with cornbread, crackers or your favorite bread.
So great for dinner or lunch on cold wintery day. Enjoy!
