It's a wonderful cool morning her in Conroe TX, looking like it's going to be a beautiful sunny day. While having my coffee on the back deck I hear the sound of lawnmowers going in the neighborhood. Spring is really here, I see all my fruit trees are just full of fruit and my crape myrtle has new growth, awesome. Today I think I will cook a very popular meal that I cook with my friends and family while out camping. Crockpot Roast, it's simple and so good and great for sandwiches. Let's get started with this wonderful recipe.
Crockpot Roast
3 Lbs Eye of round roast - tied
1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 (10 ounce) can low sodium beef broth
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 (10 ounce) can low sodium beef broth
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1 -2 tablespoon fresh minced garlic or flakes
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Mix the above ingredients. in the crock until blended.
Brown the beef in 2-3 Tablespoons of oil until all sides are browned.
Add roast to crockpot for 4-5 hours on HIGH 6-8 hours on LOW
When roast is done and you want to thicken the juices and make a gravy, use a little cornstarch (or flour) & water, in a sauce pan add crockpot juices and simmer on med-low heat until it reduces down to a smooth gravy.
Enjoy!
